(CHANNEL 1 ATLANTA) [ATLANTA, GA] [UPDATED: Monday 4/2/12 @ 4:30 am et]

Looks like it’s gonna get downright Hot today, but of course, if you stay in Atlanta long enough, your gonna see some changes and that’s what we have for you if you stayed here for this Spring Break week. It will be clear sailing around town till around Tuesday evening as a cold front and strong storm system approches the area. Just a few Thunderstorms late Tuesday. I think the main area on concern will wait till Thursday where we could see more widespread Hail and Damaging Wind storms across all of North & Central GA. Still too early if we will see Tornadoes but right now it looks like a wind and hail event. Stay with us for further updates all week on this developing weather event. I think this will be the first of many to come here over the next 60 days.
