[UPDATED: THURSDAY APRIL 12TH 2012 @ 5:49 AM ET]

{TODAY”S QUAKES}
There were 2 more “Strong” Earthquakes this morning. Both of these were in the Gulf of California. They were both reported by the USGS; The United States Geological Survey; just after 3:am et. One was a 6.2 and the other was a 6.9. There were no immediate reports of damage or injuries in Mexico or the southwest US as a result of the Earthquakes, but residents in Nevada reported to have felt the shakes. There were no immediate Tsunami threats, watchs or warnings issued.

{YESTERDAYS QUAKES}
This after a Strong Earthquake rocked the Indian Ocean 24 hours ago, prompting Tsunami Warnings as residents and tourist fleed to the hills and mountain tops. There was no reports of a major Tsunami there as this was a different Earthqauke that shook the area back in 2004 and killed thousands of people there as a massive Tsunami was triggered after a Major Earthquake. The plates of the Earth then jarred side to side, while yesterdays quake jarred up and down and was deeper than the 2004 qauke.

{WHY IS THIS HAPPENING}
You maybe wondering, why so many “Strong” Earthquakes across the globe over the past 24 hours. After researching this topic we found everything from; it’s due to “Sonic Booms” recently to; “The planets are lining up and the Earth is pulling apart and is going to explode” to; “The world is coming to an end”!

So we went to the experts on Earthquakes, the USGS to see what they had to say about. Here is a link to there explaination.
USGS: WHY SO MANY EARTHQUAKES LATEY?

{MY TAKE ON THIS}
Although my personel beliefs are not noted here because this is a news site and i just report the news to you, it certainly makes you wonder why so many Earthquakes lately? Keep in mind that Earthquakes have been happening since the begining and in today’s modern age of 24/7 news, instant tweets from Earthquake sites, we know more; faster about Earthquakes than ever before! Earthquakes have always been here. There are just more people on Earth today, and faster ways of finding out about things. If we had Twitter on the first day the Earth was created, Twitter would have exploded! LOL 🙂
