Still looks good for a Severe Weather threat Sunday across most of Georgia. And now it appears that Severe Weather will continue to be a threat with another system on Monday.
There is a “SLIGHT RISK” for Severe Thunderstorms across most of the state of Georgia both Sunday & Monday mainly during the afternoon and evening hours. The following timeline and threat forecast is by David Dutton of CHannel 1 Atlanta based on the latest computer models and forecast and is now for both Sunday and Monday.
DAMAGING WINDS UP TO 60 MPH : 60 % -MODERATE
LARGE HAIL GOLFBALL SIZE OR LARGER : 40% -SLIGHT
EF0-EF1 TORNADO – 20% -SLIGHT -1 or 2 (anywhere in GA)
The best time you will see Severe Weather Sunday afternoon across Georgia will be from Noon untill midnight et from north to south. And 2pm to midnight Monday from west to east.
