There is a “Slight Risk” for an “Isolated” Severe Thunderstorm this afternoon and evening anywhere across Georgia, except for Northeast and East Central Georgia.
Strong to Isolated Severe thunderstorms were ongoing this morning across portions of Northeast Georgia. High pressure will move into this area later today, limiting further storm development later today.
Across the rest of Georgia, Including the Atlanta area, some scatterd thunderstorms will develop after 2pm. The main threats will be Damaging winds, Large Hail, and very heavy rainfall. The storms should deminish after midnight tonight.
