Sandy is set to hit Atlantic City NJ Monday with est winds of 80 mph. These winds are expected to bring historic widespread wind damage to millions of people in the Northeast US between now and Wednesday. Billions of dollars in damage is already predicted as well.

Residents of the Northeast US were urged to evacuate low lying areas due to extensive historic coastal flooding. Waves could exceed 20 ft and up to 2 ft of snow was predicted to hit VA as Sandy will collide with a cold front and snow will develop on the back side of this system.

Sandy should be moving out of the Northeast into Canada by the end of the week.
